In this work, a high-performance wearable sensor with excellent flexibility was fabricated by dip-coating MXene material on a polyester fiber substrate and depositing silver nanoparticles. This sensor shows good response to temperature and pressure/strain signals, high-temperature sensitivity, fast response and recovery time to pressure, low-pressure detection limit, and good cycling stability.
this work, a high-performance wearable sensor of excellent flexibility was fabricated by dip-coating Ti3C2Tx MXene material (M) on a polyester fiber (PET) substrate and depositing silver nanoparticles (Ag) by magnetron sputtering. The Ag/M/PET fiber sensor not only responds well to the stimuli of temperature, pressure/strain signals, but also exhibits high-temperature sensitivity (0 ?C-10 ?C: -3.4938% ?C-1, 10 ?C- 30 ?C: -1.0436% ?C-1), relatively fast response and recovery time to pressure (130 ms), low-pressure detection limit (6.5 mg, 1 cm(2)), and good cycling stability (1000 cycles). The proposed fiber sensor has the advantages of high sensitivity, simple structure, convenient fabrication, and excellent multi modal sensing capability, which makes it a valuable candidate for human motion detection and personal healthcare.
