Assessment of selenium spatial distribution using mu-XFR in cowpea (Vigna unguiculata (L.) Walp.) plants: Integration of physiological and biochemical responses

Chemometrics unraveling nutrient dynamics during soybean seed germination

Summary: This study compared univariate and multivariate strategies to investigate elements detected during soybean germination using α-XRF. The results showed that micronutrients were mainly located at the radicle tip, while macronutrients were spread throughout the seed. Score maps and correlation maps were able to evaluate variations of chemical elements and provide insight into elemental distribution and remobilization during soybean seed germination.
