Some novel dynamical behaviours of localized solitary waves for the Hirota-Maccari system

Pei Xia et al.

Summary: This paper investigates a particular family of semi-rational solutions in determinant form using the KP hierarchy reduction method, which describe resonant collisions among lumps or resemble line rogue waves and dark solitons in the Hirota-Maccari system. These solitary waves have the characteristics of two-dimensional spatial localization and one-dimensional temporal localization.

Rogue lumps on a background of kink waves for the Bogoyavlenskii-Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation

Pei Xia et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the behavior of rogue lumps on a background of kink waves for the Bogoyavlenskii-Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation, and obtains a new family of determinant semi-rational solutions through the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili hierarchy reduction method combined with the Hirota bilinear method. It is found that rogue lumps arise from the kink waves background and eventually decay back to the background as truly localized lumps.

A variety of multiple-soliton solutions for the integrable (4+1)-dimensional Fokas equation

Abdul-Majid Wazwaz

Summary: This study investigates the integrable nonlinear (4+1)-dimensional Fokas equation using the simplified Hirota's method, revealing multiple soliton and complex soliton solutions, and confirming integrability through the Painlev'e integrability in the sense of WTC method. The results show that each set of multiple soliton solutions has a distinct physical structure.

New soliton wave structures of nonlinear (4

Shahzad Sarwar

Summary: The physics of the (4+1)-dimensional Fokas equation is derived from the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili and Davey-Stewartson equations in wave theory. This article introduces two recognizable methods to investigate new wave structures of the (4+1)-dimensional Fokas dynamical model, resulting in new solutions such as dark solitons, bright solitons, combined dark-bright soliton solutions, periodic and solitary wave solutions. The achieved results show that the methods proposed in this article are simple, effective, and can be easily applied to find solutions for other nonlinear higher-dimensional models.

Doubly localized rogue waves on a background of dark solitons for the Fokas system

Jiguang Rao et al.

Summary: This study investigates the doubly localized rogue waves in the Fokas system, which are described by semi-rational solutions. There are two types of doubly localized rogue waves: line segment rogue waves and lump-type ones, both of which are truly localized in two-dimensional space and time. These waves serve as an extension of reported rogue waves in two-dimensional systems and hold great importance in nonlinear science and physical applications.

Doubly Localized Two-Dimensional Rogue Waves in the Davey-Stewartson I Equation

Jiguang Rao et al.

Summary: This study investigates doubly-localized two-dimensional rogue waves in the background of dark solitons or a constant, using the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili hierarchy reduction method and Hirota's bilinear technique. These waves are described by semi-rational solutions and illustrate resonant collisions between lumps or line rogue waves and dark solitons, resulting in them being doubly localized in two-dimensional space and time.

A new (3+1)-dimensional Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation and its integrability, multiple-solitons, breathers and lump waves

Yu-Lan Ma et al.

Summary: This paper presents a new (3+1)-dimensional integrable Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation, whose integrability is confirmed through Painleve analysis. Various solutions including bilinear form, multiple-soliton, breather, and lump solutions are obtained using the Hirota bilinear method, revealing rich dynamical behaviors. Notably, splitting and fusing phenomena are observed when lump waves interact, offering insights into complex wave dynamics in fluids.

Dynamic properties of interactional solutions for the (4+1)-dimensional Fokas equation

Ai-Hua Chen et al.

Summary: This paper presents multi-solitary wave solutions of the (4 + 1)dimensional Fokas equation based on the bilinear form, and derived resonant solutions of N-solitary waves with special parameters. Interactions between waves and interesting phenomena during elastic interactions were analyzed, with theoretical and graphical illustrations of the asymptotic behaviors.
