Antiferromagnetic spin Seebeck effect across the spin-flop transition: A stochastic Ginzburg-Landau simulation

Yutaka Yamamoto et al.

Summary: This study investigates the antiferromagnetic spin Seebeck effect across the spin-flop transition using numerical simulations. The results show that the sign reversal of the spin Seebeck effect is controlled by the exchange coupling at the interface and the spin dephasing in the metal layer.

Different critical behaviors in perovskites with a structural phase transition from cubic-to-trigonal and cubic-to-tetragonal symmetry

Amnon Aharony et al.

Summary: This passage discusses the structural phase transitions of perovskites from cubic to trigonal or tetragonal structures, and their critical behavior, showing that these transitions correspond to different scenarios related to the isotropic three-components Heisenberg model. It predicts the effective critical exponents in different transition cases and introduces new renormalization group calculations for estimating these exponents.

Bootstrapping Heisenberg magnets and their cubic instability

Shai M. Chester et al.

Summary: In this study, the critical O(3) model was investigated using numerical conformal bootstrap, with the use of a cutting-surface algorithm to efficiently map out the space of allowed conformal field theory data. By calculating the scaling dimensions of the main O(3) singlet s, vector phi, and rank-2 symmetric tensor t, it was found that the system described by the critical O(3) model is unstable to cubic anisotropy, as evidenced by introducing a new tip-finding algorithm to compute an upper bound on the leading rank-4 symmetric tensor t(4).

Untangling scaling dimensions of fixed charge operators in Higgs theories

Oleg Antipin et al.

Summary: This study introduces a new strategy to determine the anomalous dimensions of different operators in non-Abelian symmetry groups without the need for diagrammatic computations. By applying this computational strategy, the anomalous dimensions of several composite operators in the U(N) x U(M) model were successfully determined. The powerful combination of semiclassical methods and group theory allowed for the extraction of scaling dimensions for a wide range of operators for the first time.
