A rapid and efficient synthesis method for 1,3,5-triaryl-2-pyrazolines has been proposed using a one-pot approach. The reaction is facilitated by the presence of the NB-Fe3O4@SiO2@CPTMO@DEA-SO3H nanocatalyst under solvent-free conditions. The reaction time is short and the yields are high.
A robust and rapid synthesis of 1,3,5-triaryl-2-pyrazolines by one-pot multicomponent condensation of chalcones and phenylhydrazine in the presence of NB-Fe3O4@SiO2@CPTMO@DEA-SO3H nanocatalyst has been proposed. The corresponding chalcones as intermediate products were synthesized from substituted benzaldehydes and acetophenones using the same catalyst under solvent-free conditions. High yields of 1,3,5-triaryl-2-pyrazolines (88-98%) were achieved in ethanol at 45 degrees C in a short time (2-6 h).
