Combined Orthokeratology with Atropine for Children with Myopia: A Meta-Analysis

Suzhen Wang et al.

Summary: The study aimed to evaluate the combined effects of orthokeratology (OK) and 0.01% atropine ophthalmic solution for myopia in children. Four studies were included in the meta-analysis, showing that the combined treatment was more effective in slowing axial elongation compared to OK monotherapy within a short treatment duration. The combination therapy also had no negative impact on UCVA, CECD, and IOP.
