Analysis of Neutral B-Meson Decays into Two Muons

First Observation of the Decay Bs0 → K-μ+νμ and a Measurement of |Vub|/|Vcb|

Summary: This paper reports world averages of measurements of b-hadron, c-hadron, and tau-lepton properties obtained by the Heavy Flavour Averaging Group using results available through September 2018. Adjustments are made to common input parameters used in various analyses to common values, taking known correlations into account. The averages include branching fractions, lifetimes, neutral meson mixing parameters, CP violation parameters, parameters of semileptonic decays, and Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix elements.

Measurement of the branching fraction of the B0→Ds+π- decay

Summary: Using data from proton-proton collisions with an integrated luminosity of 5.0fb-1, the branching fraction of the B0 -> Ds+pi- decay was measured to be (19.4 +/- 1.8 +/- 1.3 +/- 1.2)x10-6, providing important information on non-factorizable strong interaction effects and the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element Vub. Additionally, the collision energy dependence of the hadronisation-fraction ratio fs/fd was also determined through Bs0 -> Ds+pi- and B0 -> D-pi + decays.

Angular Analysis of the B+ → K*+μ+ μ- Decay

Summary: In this study, an angular analysis of the B+ -> K*(+)(-> K-S(0)pi(+))mu(+) mu(-) decay was conducted using data from the LHCb experiment. Local deviations from standard model predictions were observed, similar to previous analyses of related decays. The global tension depends on the effective couplings considered and the choice of theory nuisance parameters.

Precise measurement of the fs/fd ratio of fragmentation fractions and of Bs0 decay branching fractions

Additionally, the branching fractions of B-s(0) decay channels are accurately measured, reducing uncertainties and updating the values for further searches in new physics through B-s(0) branching fractions measurements.
