This article discusses Pasolini's public speeches published in the Corriere della sera and the Lettere luterane, and their connection to the thoughts of contemporary philosophers, particularly those from the Frankfurt area. It also explores the Socratic destiny of the author, who publicly condemned the polis and faced rejection for breaking the taboo of thought and truth.
This essay reflects on Pasolini's public speeches that appeared mainly in the Corriere della sera, and were later included in the Scritti corsari, as well as those published in the Lettere luterane. The aim of this paper is to show the connection of these speeches to the thought of some of Pasolini's contemporary philosophers, mainly from the Frankfurt area, but also, and simultaneously, to the Socratic destiny of the author, who publicly condemned the polis and who was rejected by it for having broken the taboo of thought and truth.
