Conversion of Carbohydrates in Lignocellulosic Biomass after Chemical Pretreatment

Alkaline treatment had less impact on carbohydrates compared to acid treatment, which caused adverse structural changes in cellulose for fermentation. Additionally, the quantitative changes in the chemical composition varied depending on the raw material.
