Impact of gold nanoparticles along with Maxwell velocity and Smoluchowski temperature slip boundary conditions on fluid flow: Sutterby model

Tanveer Sajid et al.

Summary: This paper focuses on the rotating Sutterby fluid flow subjected to a slippery expandable sheet and develops a mathematical model to study the heat transfer and mass transfer effects of gold nanoparticles and thermal radiation. The results show that the presence of gold nanoparticles and thermal radiation parameter can enhance the heat transfer rate and mass transfer. The numerical calculations also investigate the influence of various parameters on surface drag coefficient, heat transfer, and mass transfer.

Performance evaluation of a solar still using hybrid nanofluid glass cooling-CFD simulation and environmental analysis

Shahin Shoeibi et al.

Summary: This paper numerically evaluates the impact of using hybrid nanofluid (Al2O3-TiO2) for glass cooling on a double-slope solar still. The results show that using hybrid nanofluid glass cooling can significantly increase the freshwater yield and energy efficiency of solar desalination.

Framing the upshot of Hall current on MHD unsteady nanofluid flow from a rotating spherical body in presence of solar radiation

Amit Sarkar et al.

Summary: This study investigates the flow characteristics of an unsteady nanofluid near the stagnation point of a spinning sphere under the influence of Hall current, solar radiation, and a transverse magnetic field. The impact of parameters on temperature, velocity, and concentration distributions is elucidated through tables and graphs, showing how Hall and magnetic parameters affect heat transfer rates differently.

Unsteady hybrid nanofluid flow over a radially permeable shrinking/stretching surface

Umair Khan et al.

Summary: The time-dependent stagnation point flow and heat transfer of a water-based hybrid nanofluid from a radially permeable shrinking or stretching surface are investigated. Numerical results indicate the existence of dual solutions, with only one being stable, and the hybrid nanofluid enhances heat transfer rate compared to a regular fluid.
