Inequities in people with gout: a focus on Maori (Indigenous People) of Aotearoa New Zealand

Leanne Te Karu et al.

Summary: Health equity is defined as the absence of systematic disparities in health between advantaged and disadvantaged social groups. Providers highlighted the importance of culturally safe and competent care, community empowerment, and adequate resources for improving gout management in these communities.
