Flexible N-Type Thermoelectric Composites Based on Non-Conductive Polymer with Innovative Bi2Se3-CNT Hybrid Nanostructured Filler

Juris Bitenieks et al.

Summary: This research focuses on the fabrication of PVOH/Bi2Se3-MWCNT composites for flexible thermoelectric devices, with comparable Seebeck coefficient to Bi2Se3 thin films and stable resistance during bending cycles. The composites also exhibit improved thermal stability, storage modulus, and linear coefficient of thermal expansion compared to neat PVOH.

Experimental validation of bulk-graphene as a thermoelectric generator

Muhammad Uzair Khan et al.

Summary: The study focused on the thermoelectric properties of bulk graphene at different temperatures, revealing its metallic behavior with holes as the majority charge carriers. The thermopower of the graphene pellet was four times higher than that of single and few layer graphene, and it exhibited low thermal conductivity. Additionally, an upward trend was observed in the dimensionless figure of merit with increasing temperature, reaching a peak value at 363K, which was almost ten times higher than previous values reported.
