Mode-locked fiber laser based on Pb3Sn4FeSb2S14 saturable absorber

Mingxiao Zhu et al.

Summary: This study thoroughly investigated the saturated optical properties and ultrafast optical applications of the multi-element material Pb3Sn4FeSb2S14. Stable mode-locked pulses were obtained using a mode-locked fiber laser based on Pb3Sn4FeSb2S14-polyvinyl alcohol saturable absorber. The nonlinear relationship between output power and pump power was observed, possibly due to the self-focusing effect.
