Distributed filtering based on Cauchy-kernel-based maximum correntropy subject to randomly occurring cyber-attacks

Haifang Song et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the distributed filtering issue under the Cauchy-kernel-based maximum correntropy for large-scale systems subject to randomly occurring cyber-attacks in non-Gaussian environments. The proposed approach uses the weighted Cauchy kernel-based maximum correntropy criterion to evaluate filtering performance against non-Gaussian noises and cyber-attacks. By utilizing matrix decomposition and fixed-point iterative update rules, the desired filter gain is obtained to achieve optimal filtering performance. A distributed implementation method that only relies on local information and neighboring one-step prediction is developed. The convergence of the algorithm is proven using the Banach fixed-point theorem. The effectiveness of the proposed distributed filtering algorithm is demonstrated using a standard IEEE 39-bus power system in the presence of cyber-attacks and non-Gaussian noises.

Zewei Yang et al.

Summary: This paper focuses on the problem of differential privacy-based containment control for discrete-time multi-agent systems with time-varying topology. Injecting uncorrelated noise into the data during information transmission prevents leakage of private information and enables bounded containment control. The paper also studies convergence accuracy and verifies the effectiveness of the proposed privacy protection mechanism in protecting the followers' initial states.

Observer-based synchronisation control for discrete-time delayed switched complex networks with coding-decoding approach

Jinghui Suo et al.

Summary: In this paper, the synchronisation control problem for a class of discrete-time switched complex networks with time-varying delays is investigated using a coding-decoding-based approach. An observer-based control scheme is proposed for each node, and a proper coding-decoding procedure is designed to ensure the expected synchronisation performance. The conditions for the detectability of the complex networks and the existence of the desired observer-based controller are presented, along with a numerical example to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.

Recursive Filtering With Measurement Fading: A Multiple Description Coding Scheme

Licheng Wang et al.

Summary: This article explores the recursive filtering problem for a class of discrete-time nonlinear stochastic systems with fading measurements, utilizing a multiple description coding scheme to minimize error variance and improve efficiency in data transmission. By introducing independent Bernoulli distributed random variables and modeling channel fading with the Mth-order Rice fading model, the study aims to design a recursive filter that can effectively handle stochastic noises, channel fading, and data coding-decoding mechanisms simultaneously. Through the use of Riccati difference equations and stochastic analysis, the explicit form of desired filter parameters is derived, and a simulation experiment is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the developed filtering scheme.
