In this paper, we study T(T) over bar deformations in pp waves obtained from gravity duals. We find that the deformation of AdS(5) x S-5 must correspond to some dipole theory, and we also obtain the spin chain Hamiltonian for the deformed world sheet string in AdS(5) x S-5 pp wave. Furthermore, we discover that the deformed spin chain Hamiltonian corresponds to an equivalent Berenstein-Maldacena-Nastase (BMN) sector of N = 4 super Yang-Mills.
In this paper we consider T (T) over bar deformations in the context of pp waves obtained from gravity duals. We propose a deformation of AdS(5) x S-5 similar to the deformation of the single trace T (T) over bar deformation of AdS(3) x S-3 x T-4 with NS-NS flux, and study it through the Penrose limit, concluding that it must correspond to some dipole theory, probably noncommutative. We T (T) over bar deform the world sheet string for the AdS(5) x S-5 pp wave, and find a corresponding spin chain Hamiltonian. Finally, directly T (T) over bar deforming the spin chain Hamiltonian obtained from the pp wave, we find that it corresponds to an equivalent BerensteinMaldacena-Nastase (BMN) sector of the N = 4 super Yang-Mills.
