Summary: Highly biocompatible indocyanine green-human serum albumin nanoparticles (ICG-HSA NPs) were synthesized using self-assembly and radiolabeled with technetium-99m. These NPs exhibited excellent performance in preoperative planning, intraoperative monitoring, and photothermal treatment in a mouse model of sentinel lymph node (SLN) metastasis. With their biocompatibility and theranostic properties, these NPs hold promise for clinical translation.
