Musculoskeletal symptoms in formal and informal caregivers of elderly people

The results show that informal caregivers have longer working hours, more hours of work, less time off, and a lack of care guidelines. The most common symptom site is the spine, and the greater the dependence of the elderly, the higher the chances of caregivers developing musculoskeletal symptoms.
