Summary: A novel hierarchical porous H-ZIF-8 solid-state electrolyte material with excellent ion conductivity and Li+-transference number was obtained through the in situ growth of zinc nitrate hydroxide nanosheets. Moreover, the electrochemical properties were significantly enhanced by decorating halloysite nanotubes (HNT) on the optimized H-ZIF-8 morphology and structure, leading to higher ionic conductivity and better single-ion transmittability. This work enriches the solid-state lithium-ion composite electrolyte materials and provides a new strategy for enhancing electrochemical performance.

Fast Detection of Entacapone by a Lanthanide-Organic Framework with Rhombic Channels

Summary: Eu-TDA, a water stable europium-based metal-organic framework, was synthesized for the fast and selective detection of ENT by luminescence with excellent reusability and selectivity in the presence of main coexisting and interference species of plasma, showing a limit of detection of 5.01 mu M. The experimental results demonstrated that the luminescence of Eu-TDA can be effectively quenched by ENT through well-designed photoinduced electron transfer mechanism and internal filtration effect mechanism in the system.

Triggered Release from Cellulose Microparticles Inspired by Wood Degradation by Fungi

Benzoindole-based bifunctional ratiometric turn-on sensor with an ICT effect for trapping of H+ and Al3+ in dual-channel cell imaging and samples

Summary: A bifunctional ratiometric naked-eye fluorescence sensor (BIBC) was developed for turn-on detection of H+ and Al3+ in mixtures, showing good linear relationship and detection limit. The sensor was successfully applied for real-time visualization of changes in ion concentration in living cells, with great photostability and low cytotoxicity observed. Fluorescence images of H+ and Al3+ were collected using a fluorescence microscope in a dual-channel configuration, with promising results.

Turn-on ratiometric fluorescent probe: Naked-eye detection of acidic pH and citric acid (CA) by using fluorescence spectrum and its application in real food samples and zebrafish
