Oral health-related quality of life and satisfaction in edentulous patients rehabilitated with implant-supported full dentures all-on-four concept: a systematic review

Efficacy of rehabilitation of stage IV periodontitis patients with full-arch fixed prostheses: Tooth-supported versus Implant-supported-A systematic review

Summary: The efficacy of implant-supported compared to tooth-supported full-arch prostheses was evaluated in patients with stage IV periodontitis. Observational studies showed that the 10-year estimates of tooth loss were lower than for implants, while the estimated loss of tooth- and implant-supported restorations at 10 years was similar. Additionally, technical complications were more prevalent in implant-supported compared to tooth-supported restorations.
