Perceived Socioeconomic Status: A Strong Predictor of Long-Term Outcomes After Injury

Mohamad El Moheb et al.

Summary: This study assessed the correlation between objective SES and perceived SES, and compared their associations with long-term outcomes after injury. The findings indicated a significant discrepancy between individuals' perception of their own SES and the objective measures of income and education. Furthermore, perceived SES was found to be a stronger predictor of long-term outcomes after injury.
