Comprehensive transcriptome analysis reveals the effect of feeding rhythm on the immunity and metabolism of Acipenser dabryanus

Yeyu Chen et al.

Summary: In this study, the liver and spleen transcriptomes of Acipenser dabryanus were analyzed to investigate the effects of different feeding rhythms. The results suggested that feeding the fish six times a day could enhance its nutrition metabolism and immune function.

Summary: This study identified 9 potential reference genes for the Yangtze sturgeon from the transcriptome, recommending the use of EF1-alpha and/or beta-actin as reference genes in nutrition research.
