Observations of the Cabibbo-Suppressed decays Λc+ → nπ+ π0, nπ+ π- π+ and the Cabibbo-Favored decay Λc+ → nK- π+ π+*

M. Ablikim et al.

Summary: Using 4.5 fb(-1) of electron-positron annihilation data collected at BESIII, we have observed the Cabibbo-suppressed and Cabibbo-favored decays with statistical significances of 7.9 sigma, 7.8 sigma, and >10 sigma respectively. The branching fractions of these decays are measured and found to be significantly different. Notably, the branching fraction of Lambda(+)(c) -> n pi(+) pi(0) is about one order of magnitude higher than that of Lambda(+)(c) -> n pi(+).

Search for the semi-leptonic decays ?c+ ? ?p+p-e+?e and ?c+? pKS0p-e+?e

M. Ablikim et al.

Summary: In this study, we searched for the semi-leptonic decays ?(+)(c) ? ?p(+)p(-)e(+)?(e) and ?(+)(c)? pK(S)(0)p(-)e(+)?(e) using a data sample of 4.5 fb(-1) of e(+)e(-) annihilation data collected by the BESIII detector at the BEPCII. No significant signals were observed, and upper limits on the decay branching fractions were set at the 90% confidence level.

Λb → p, N*(1535) form factors from QCD light-cone sum rules

Ke-Sheng Huang et al.

Summary: In this work, the transition form factors of Lambda b decaying into proton and N * (1535) are calculated using the framework of light-cone sum rules with the distribution amplitudes of Lambda (b)-aryon. The proton and N * (1535) states are isolated in the hadronic representation of the correlation function, allowing for simultaneous evaluation of the Lambda b -> p, N * (1535) form factors. The predictions on the form factors of Lambda b -> p are consistent with lattice simulations, light-baryon sum rules, and experimental data, while the predictions for Lambda b -> N * (1535) are sensitive to the choice of interpolating currents.

Anatomy of Λc plus semileptonic decays

Chao-Qiang Geng et al.

Summary: We conducted a comprehensive study on A+c-+Bqt degrees+nu t degrees decays, exploring all possible decay observables using the homogeneous bag model and lattice QCD. Our findings suggest that in the bag model, the branching fractions and polarization asymmetries of the daughter baryon A are (3.78 +/- 0.25, 3.67 +/- 0.23, 0.40 +/- 0.04)% and (-82.6, -82.3)%, respectively. From lattice QCD, we obtained alpha A(A+c-+Ae+nu e,mu+nu mu) = (-87.4 +/- 1.0, -87.2 +/- 1.0)%. Additionally, we investigated time-reversal asymmetries arising from new physics beyond the standard model. All our results are in agreement with current experimental data, and some can be tested in BESIII and Belle II experiments.

Measurement of the absolute branching fraction of the inclusive decay ?-c -? n- plus X

M. Ablikim et al.

Summary: Based on data collected at the BESIII detector at BEPCII, the absolute branching fraction of an inclusive decay process in e+e- collisions is measured. The results suggest that around one fourth of certain decay modes involving a neutron or antineutron have not been observed.

Summary: The singly Cabibbo-suppressed decay Λ(+)c -> n pi(+) e is observed for the first time and its branching fraction is measured. The ratio of branching fractions between Λ(+)c -> n pi(+) and Λ(+)c -> p pi(0) is calculated and compared with theoretical models.

First observation of the semileptonic decay Λc+ → pK- e+ νe

M. Ablikim et al.

Summary: This article reports a study of semileptonic Λ(+)c decays using 4.5 fb(-1) of e+e- annihilation data samples collected at the BEPCII collider with the BESIII detector. The decay Λ(+)c -> pK(-)e(+)v(e) is observed with a significant branching fraction, and evidence of Λ(+)c -> Λ(1520)e(+)v(e) and Λ(+)c -> Λ(1405)e(+)v(e) is also reported. The relative fraction of these decays is determined, confirming that semileptonic Λ(+)c decays are not saturated by the Λl(+)v(e) final state.

Effects of vector leptoquarks on Λb → Λcl(v)over-barl decay

K. Azizi et al.

Summary: Experimental data on R(D-(*())), R(K-(*())), and R(J/psi) provided by different collaborations show significant deviations from the standard model predictions, leading to the proposal of new physics scenarios. The investigation of the effects of a vector leptoquark U-3(3,3,2/3) on various physical quantities related to Λb→Λ(c)l (v) over bar(l) decays can find solutions that extend beyond the standard model predictions.

QCD sum rules analysis of weak decays of doubly heavy baryons: the b → c processes

Zhi-Peng Xing et al.

Summary: This paper presents a comprehensive study of b -> c weak decays of doubly heavy baryons using QCD sum rules to obtain transition form factors and pole residues, which are then applied to a phenomenological analysis of semi-leptonic decays. Contributions from up to dimension-6 operators are considered for the two-point and three-point correlation functions.
