Antiresonance and negative differential conductance in parallel-coupled vibrating molecular dots coupled to Luttinger liquid leads

Kai-Hua Yang et al.

Summary: Theoretical study on the interplay of electron-phonon interaction, inter-dot coupling tunneling, and intralead electron interaction reveals intriguing physical phenomena, such as the transition from phonon-assisted single-channel to two-channel Kondo physics. The results provide insights for probing destructive quantum interference and extracting information on the electron-phonon interaction strength.

Destructive quantum interference phenomenon in series-coupled double quantum dots

Kai-Hua Yang et al.

Summary: This study investigates the transport properties of a model consisting of two quantum dots in series and Luttinger liquid leads to reveal interference characteristics. The results show that the intralead Coulomb interaction leads to a destructive quantum interference anti-resonant dip at the zero-bias voltage of the differential conductance. Gate-tunable conductance peaks or dips depending on the constructive or destructive interference are observed when the energy levels of the two dots are aligned, while an intriguing Fano anti-resonant interference phenomenon occurs when the energy levels are misaligned.

Fano resonance and zero-bias anomaly in parallel double quantum dots coupled to Luttinger liquid leads

Kai-Hua Yang et al.

Summary: The study focuses on the differential conductance of a double-dot system, revealing the coexistence of zero-bias dip and Fano resonance under asymmetric coupling. The zero-bias minimum gradually increases with temperature.

Summary: This study investigates the two-stage Kondo effect using single molecule transistor devices, demonstrating universal quadratic dependence of Kondo resonance. The research reveals the differences in conductance between the two-stage Kondo effect and the spin 1/2 Kondo effect.
