This essay attempts to explore a new form of historiography and show the potentialities of a more-than-human art historical narratology by weaving together geological history and art history from the perspective of Mount Baoding in southwest China and considering possible futures of its preservation and conservation.
In an age of environmental crisis and the global reality of digital cybernetics, speculative art historical narratives from the perspective of the planetary become not only necessary but also urgent, as part of a new economy of knowledge. By weaving together geological history and art history of Mount Baoding in southwest China, and considering possible histories of its future preservation and conservation, this essay attempts to explore a new form of historiography and to show the potentialities of a more-than-human art historical narratology.(sic)環(sic)(sic)機(sic)數碼(sic)(sic)(sic)為(sic)(sic)現real(sic)時(sic), (sic)為(sic)識(sic)(sic)(sic)(sic)(sic)創(sic)(sic)(sic), 從(sic)(sic)視(sic)進(sic)(sic)揣測(sic)藝術(sic)敘(sic), 變(sic)(sic)(sic)且緊(sic).(sic)(sic)將(sic)國(sic)(sic)(sic)寶頂mountain(sic)(sic)(sic)(sic)與藝術(sic)緊(sic)(sic)連, 並對寶頂mountain(sic)來(sic)(sic)護(sic)(sic)(sic)(sic)設(sic).(sic)(sic)試圖(sic)索歷(sic)寫(sic)(sic)(sic)(sic)(sic), 並藉(sic)(sic)(sic)(sic)(sic)(sic)(sic)藝術(sic)敘(sic)(sic)種潛(sic).
