A comparative study of starch-g-(glycidyl methacrylate)/synthetic polymer-based hydrogels

The results showed that blending synthetic polymers with modified starch effectively increased the swelling degree, with a maximum value reached when blended with N,N '-dimethylacrylamide. Furthermore, sodium acrylate acted as a mechanical enhancer, significantly increasing Young's Modulus.
