Summary: This study presents an atom-precise 18-copper nanocluster (Cu18H) with a pseudo D-3-symmetrical triple-helical Cu-15 core. Cu18H exhibits unique multi-layered 3D chirality and forms an infinite double-stranded helix through intra-strand and inter-strand interactions. The hierarchical assemblies of Cu18H not only resemble the structure of DNA but also exhibit crystallization-induced emission enhancement and aggregation-induced emission enhancement effects, as well as efficient catalysis of electron transfer reactions.

Summary: In this study, we report a method of using Preyssler anion as a supramolecular template for constructing {Mo22Fe8} macrocycle. The macrocycle exhibits selective anion binding behavior in solution, and the 1:2 host-guest complex formed in the solid state can transport protons more effectively through an extended hydrogen-bonding network.

Summary: The controllable construction of pure inorganic polyoxometalate (POM) zite materials with well-defined secondary building units (SBUs) is challenging. In this work, three distinct POM porous framework compounds 1-3 based on specific SBUs and transition-metal Ag linkers were self-assembled, providing valuable experience for synthetic chemists to obtain more interesting materials. Compound 1-3 exhibit cell type-specific, dose-dependent, and pH-sensitive anticancer behavior, making them promising anticancer agents for lung cancer therapy.

Summary: Researchers have developed a unique supramolecular framework by utilizing the affinity between POM and natural cyclodextrins, allowing for the encapsulation of various substances in large cavities and functionalization; X-ray analysis revealed that the framework forms honeycomb and checkerboard-like networks in α-CD and γ-CD, respectively, while leading to a distorted checkerboard-like structure in β-CD.

Summary: Hierarchical assemblies of a new silver nanocluster, Ag-70-TPP, have been synthesized and characterized, showing a highly space-efficient double helical 4H close packing pattern directed by ligands. The chirality of Ag-70-TPP and van der Waals forces interactions between ligands play a key role in driving its arrangement, with observed interlocking of phosphine ligands contributing to the structure. This work provides important and unprecedented insights into the internal structure and crystallographic arrangement of nanoclusters.

Summary: This paper investigates a pure 2D inorganic POM-based framework that undergoes a single crystal to single crystal conversion when soaked in organic solvents miscible to water, resulting in a more densely packed identical framework and the formation of nanowires. The change in morphology is closely linked to the surface tension of water, with lower surface tension achieved through dehydration promoting the formation of nanowires, as revealed through SXRD, PXRD, SEM, TGA, and EIS.

Summary: This article focuses on discussing the generation of chirality for discrete metal oxide clusters, chirality transfer via a supramolecular approach, chirality amplification in self-assemblies, and the related functional properties in solutions. The main goal is to overcome the difficulties in controlling and maintaining a stable chiral state of POMs for further corresponding performances. This review highlights the importance of induced chirality and material properties in solution systems, which have been actively researched but not yet reviewed in this interesting area.
