Summary: In this paper, a real-time and accurate 3D measurement method using a monocular 3D sensor based on infrared speckle projection is proposed. Speckle projection is achieved by customizing VCSEL projection pattern and using the beam copy function of DOE. A reference plane calibration method is proposed to improve the monocular matching accuracy. An optimized SGM algorithm using GPU is presented for efficient and accurate depth reconstruction.
