Ligustrazine alleviates psoriasis-like inflammation through inhibiting TRAF6/c-JUN/NFκB signaling pathway in keratinocyte

Rundong Jiang et al.

Summary: This study aimed to investigate the protective mechanism of tetramethylpyrazine (TMP) against psoriasis-like inflammation. The results demonstrated that TMP alleviated the severity of psoriasis-like skin lesions by inhibiting keratinocyte over-proliferation and immune cell influx. TMP regulated inflammation by modulating the TRAF6/c-JUN/NF kappa B signaling pathway, leading to the down-regulation of psoriasis-related genes. The study provides evidence for the mechanism of TMP in the treatment and prevention of psoriasis.

Chemical composition and uterine smooth muscle relaxant activity of essential oils from 10 kinds of blood-activating and stasis-resolving Chinese medicinal herbs

Hong Ni et al.

Summary: The study found that Blood-activating and stasis-resolving herbs (BASRHs) essential oils play a crucial role in inhibiting uterine smooth muscle contractions, with sesquiterpenoids and phthalides identified as important active compounds. Curcuma phaeocaulis Valeton essential oil was determined as a favorable candidate for developing anti-dysmenorrhea drugs.

Ganoderic Acid A Attenuates LPS-Induced Neuroinflammation in BV2 Microglia by Activating Farnesoid X Receptor

Yue Jia et al.

Summary: Neuroinflammation plays a critical role in neurodegenerative diseases, and microglia-mediated neuroinflammation is the main cause. Ganoderic acid A (GAA) from Ganoderma lucidum showed anti-inflammatory effects. This study found that GAA can inhibit LPS-induced neuroinflammation in BV2 microglial cells by activating the FXR receptor.
