Label-free photoelectrochemical immunosensor for aflatoxin B1 detection based on the Z-scheme heterojunction of g-C3N4/Au/WO3

Fubin Pei et al.

Summary: A label-free photoelectrochemical immunosensor using a Z-scheme heterojunction of gold nanoparticles loaded on graphitic carbon nitride sheet and tungsten trioxide sphere composite was fabricated for sensitive detection of Aflatoxin B1. The immunosensor displayed a linear concentration range from 1.0 pg mL(-1) to 100 ng mL(-1) with a low detection limit of 0.33 pg mL(-1) for AFB1. Good reproducibility, stability, and specificity provide a solid foundation for practical application.

Paper Spray Mass Spectrometry Utilized with a Synthetic Microporous Polyolefin Silica Matrix Substrate in the Rapid Detection and Identification of More than 190 Synthetic Fentanyl Analogs

Imesha W. De Silva et al.

Summary: The study investigates the growing threat of fentanyl and its related synthetic analogs to public safety, and introduces a rapid detection method using paper spray mass spectrometry (PS-MS) with Teslin substrate, which requires minimal sample for analysis and can improve the accurate detection of synthetic opioids. The research also highlights the potential of PS-MS for enhancing the structural characterization of complex samples with minimal interference of isobaric components.
