Colorblind Attitudes, Empathy, and Shame: Preparing White Students for Anti-Racist Social Work Practice

Summary: This study found that racial knowledge and emotions play different roles in predicting anti-racist behaviors. Colorblind attitudes and White shame were associated with fewer anti-racist behaviors, while empathy and having taken an ethnic studies course were related to more anti-racist behaviors.
