Summary: Multilocular thymic cyst (MTC) is a rare acquired disease associated with autoimmune conditions. This case report highlights the improvement in thrombocytopaenia following surgical resection of MTC, suggesting a potential link between MTC formation and autoimmune antibodies development. Further investigation is warranted to verify this connection.
