Summary: This study aimed to assess the pharmacokinetics, clinical efficacy, and adverse effects of injectable methadone with fluconazole as a pharmacokinetic enhancer in dogs after ovariohysterectomy. The results demonstrated that two doses of methadone-fluconazole provided 24 hours of postoperative analgesia. The clinical trial showed that methadone-fluconazole effectively controlled postoperative pain with good tolerability.
