Immaculate composite of g-C3N4/TiO2/polypyrrole as a facile super-capacitive electrode material for energy accumulation

Simran Ahlawat et al.

Summary: A series of g-C3N4/TiO2/PPy (GTP) nanocomposites were prepared with different compositions by in-situ chemical polymerization of pyrrole and intercalating optimized dosage of g-C3N4 and TiO2 with polypyrrole (PPy). Optimized electrodes with super-capacitive functionality were analyzed structurally and morphologically for energy storage. The GTP 1.0 composite exhibited good specific capacitance of 1216 F/g at 2 mV/s, in accordance with GCD results. It also showed excellent cyclic stability of 93% after 10,000 cycles. The power density and energy density of the GTP 1.0 composite in a three-electrode system were found to be 249.9 W/kg and 65.6 Wh/kg, respectively, at 0.5 A/g, promising results for energy storage. A GTP//AC (Activated Charcoal) supercapacitor device was designed with an energy density of 15.6 Wh/kg and power density of 232.3 W/kg.

Electrochemical synthesis of graphene rooted with prepared cerium vanadate liberating GO@CeVO4 composite for super-capacitive energy reservoir, furthered with photocatalytic degradation of Rose Bengal dye

Simran Ahlawat et al.

Summary: Exfoliated graphene was synthesized from graphite foil electrochemically, and cerium vanadate was obtained hydrothermally. This research article discusses the fabrication of composites based on exfoliated graphene and CeVO4 via hydrothermal route, with different proportions of graphene to obtain GO@CeVO4 or CG. The synthesized outcomes were analyzed using advanced characterization techniques, and electrochemical tests were conducted to evaluate the performance of the composites. The optimized composite CG3 exhibited high specific capacitance, energy density, and power density, as well as excellent cyclic stability and dye degradation.
