Interacting Multiple Model Filter with a Maximum Correntropy Criterion for GPS Navigation Processing

Dah-Jing Jwo et al.

Summary: This paper proposes a novel method for processing the navigation states of GPS by combining the maximum correntropy criterion and the interacting multiple model with an extended Kalman filter, in order to deal with the uncertainty of measurement noise, especially for outlier types of multipath interference and NLOS reception. The method offers an alternative for creating an adaptive filter for processing time-varying satellite signal standards. The performance of the standard EKF declines when the noise is non-Gaussian, while the maximum correntropy-extended Kalman filter enhances performance in non-Gaussian situations by using the MCC as the optimization criterion.

A Hypothesis Test-Constrained Robust Kalman Filter for INS/GNSS Integration With Abnormal Measurement

Guangle Gao et al.

Summary: This paper proposes a hypothesis test-constrained robust Kalman filter for INS/GNSS integrated navigation in the presence of measurement outliers. The method combines hypothesis test with maximum likelihood theory to estimate measurement noise covariance and effectively handle outliers. Simulation and experimental results show that the proposed method outperforms the Kalman filter and maximum likelihood-based robust Kalman filter in terms of navigation accuracy, with improvements of approximately 46% and 30% respectively.

Robust Unscented Kalman Filter-Based Decentralized Multisensor Information Fusion for INS/GNSS/CNS Integration in Hypersonic Vehicle Navigation

Gaoge Hu et al.

Summary: This article proposes a new method of decentralized multisensor information fusion based on robust unscented Kalman filter (UKF) for INS/GNSS/CNS integration to solve the issue of interference in measurements during highly dynamic maneuvers. The proposed method utilizes fault detection and innovation covariance adjustment to increase robustness against abnormal measurements. It also extends the traditional multisensor optimal data fusion technique to nonlinear systems using unscented transformation. Simulations and comparisons have shown the superior performance of the proposed method.

Maximum Correntropy Based Spectral Redshift Estimation for Spectral Redshift Navigation

Guangle Gao et al.

Summary: This article presents a maximum correntropy method for redshift estimation in spectral redshift navigation (SRN). It converts the problem by using correntropy to establish a candidate redshift set. A wavelet transform technique is utilized for denoising and fitting spectral signals, enabling extraction of spectral lines and construction of the candidate redshift set. The proposed method improves the accuracy of redshift estimation and demonstrates real-time performance in SRN.
