From Enzymatic Dopamine Biosensors to OECT Biosensors of Dopamine

Cristian Ravariu

Summary: Neurotransmitters, such as dopamine, have been extensively studied for their detection using biosensors. Biosensors offer cheaper and more sensitive detection of dopamine compared to conventional methods. The integration of active biological materials with electronic devices has contributed to the development of more advanced biosensors.

The Role of Cadherin 12 (CDH12) in the Peritoneal Fluid among Patients with Endometriosis and Endometriosis-Related Infertility

Ksawery Golawski et al.

Summary: This study compared the levels of CDH 12 in the peritoneal fluid between women with and without endometriosis. The results showed that CDH 12 levels were significantly higher in patients with infertility or primary infertility and endometriosis compared to patients without endometriosis and without infertility or primary infertility. CDH 12 may play a role in the pathogenesis of infertility, both in women with and without endometriosis.

Nanoscale SPR sensor for the ultrasensitive detection of the ovarian cancer marker carbohydrate antigen 125

Sinem Diken Gur et al.

Summary: In this study, a nanoscale surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor was developed to determine the level of ovarian cancer marker CA 125 in serum using the molecular imprinting method. The developed sensor system exhibited high sensitivity, selectivity, and reliability, and was able to accurately detect CA 125 levels even in complex media.

Cadherin-12 Regulates Neurite Outgrowth Through the PKA/Rac1/Cdc42 Pathway in Cortical Neurons

Beibei Guo et al.

Summary: The study identified Cadherin-12 (CDH12) as a gene that promotes neurite outgrowth by affecting Rac1/Cdc42 phosphorylation. This research provides a preliminary explanation for the mechanism of CDH12 in promoting axonal extension in vitro and in vivo.
