The difference in the adsorption mechanisms of magnetic ferrites modified carbon nanotubes

Jingjing Yao et al.

Summary: In this study, various ferrites modified carbon nanotubes were synthesized and characterized for their adsorption capacity of ciprofloxacin. The different M components of the ferrites affected the adsorption behavior of ciprofloxacin, providing insights into the adsorption mechanism. The study also revealed that CoFe2O4 and CuFe2O4 showed promoted oxygen adsorption, while MnFe2O4 exhibited restrained adsorption, which was supported by electron density overlap analysis.
