Development of a Novel Fuzzy Hierarchical Location-Routing Optimization Model Considering Reliability

Javid Ghahremani-Nahr et al.

Summary: This paper proposes an optimization method for a novel fuzzy hierarchical location-routing problem that considers reliability. The model utilizes fuzzy programming to handle uncertain demand and transportation cost parameters, and both GA and PSO algorithms are employed to solve the mathematical model. The results demonstrate that increasing uncertainty leads to higher total costs, and GA outperforms PSO in solving large-scale numerical examples.
