The Rise (And Fall?) of Dark Personalities: The Moderating Effect of Perceived Success on the Relationship Between the Dark Triad and Counterproductive Work Behaviors

Dark personality in dark times: How Dark Triad personality interacts with injustice and politics to influence detachment and discretionary behaviours

Summary: Using two-wave time-lagged multi-source data, this study examines how Dark Triad personality (DTP) interacts with contextual variables to influence psychological detachment and discretionary behaviors. The results show that DTP is positively related to psychological detachment and counterproductive work behaviors (CWBs), and negatively related to organizational citizenship behaviors (OCBs). Moreover, these effects are stronger when individuals perceive higher levels of injustice and organizational politics (POP).

Career success in the University setting: Examining the role of narcissism facets

The study, based on an online survey of 282 employees from a German university, found a significant negative relationship between vulnerable narcissism and career success.
