Lifted directed-worm algorithm

Hidemaro Suwa

Summary: This paper presents the application of lifting technique to the directed-worm algorithm, optimizing the transition probability of the worm update and maximizing stochastic flow breaking the detailed balance. The improved efficiency of the algorithm over previous versions for the hypercubic lattice Ising model is demonstrated.

Geometric allocation approach to accelerating directed worm algorithm

Hidemaro Suwa

Summary: The worm algorithm is a versatile technique that substantially improves computational efficiency by enhancing diffusivity of the worm head. Performance improvement is demonstrated at critical temperature, showing the algorithm to be more efficient than the conventional worm update.
