Modified Williams' crack tip solution including crack face pressure

Williams' series expansion crack tip solution in linear elasticity is modified to include a uniform crack face pressure. It is shown that the crack face pressure p only enters the constant or the T -stress term. Practical ways to calculate the T-stress from near crack tip stresses are outlined. The analytical results are consistent with numerical results such as from ABAQUS.
