Amino-functionalized glucuronoxylan as an efficient bio-based emulsifier

Summary: Alkyl aminated glucuronoxylans have the potential to replace petroleum-based emulsifiers in various applications due to their improved emulsifying properties. The alkyl content and chain length of the alkylamine modified glucuronoxylans play a crucial role in enhancing emulsion activity, droplet size, and zeta potential. However, excessive alkyl groups may not significantly improve the emulsifying properties beyond a certain value.
