Summary: Drawing upon various theories, this study examines the factors that shape attitudes towards social media influencers and advertised products/services, as well as the effect of these attitudes on actual purchase behavior. The results reveal a negative impact of interactivity on attitudinal outcomes, and a mediating role of attitude towards the product or service on the relationship between attitude towards the influencer and purchase behavior.
