Fusion Graph Representation of EEG for Emotion Recognition

GLFANet: A global to local feature aggregation network for EEG emotion recognition

Summary: Recently, emotion recognition technology based on electroencephalogram (EEG) signals is being widely used. Traditional deep learning models often overlook the topological features of EEG electrodes, leading to difficulties in enhancing the effectiveness of emotion recognition. To address this issue, a global to local feature aggregation network (GLFANet) is proposed, which utilizes the spatial and frequency domain features of EEG signals to construct an undirected topological graph and learns deeper features for emotion recognition. The results show that the proposed algorithm achieves higher accuracy compared to other advanced algorithms on DEAP, SEED, and DREAMER datasets.
