This paper measures and analyzes the vibration in the urban metro turnout area using on-site experimental methods, and compares the effects of vibration isolation fasteners and steel-spring floating slabs. By employing an energy evaluation method, it also analyzes the vibration propagation characteristics on the nonisolated turnout frog section, providing important data for vibration control.
Due to the scarcity of urban land resources, the development model of building over rail transit has rapidly emerged. The turnouts near the train depots and stations have become significant sources of environmental vibrations. This paper employs on-site experimental methods to measure the vibration acceleration of rail, track slab, and tunnel wall at multiple sections in the turnout area when a subway train passes through. The vibration intensities at different sections of the turnout area are analyzed, and the vibration reduction effects of vibration isolation fasteners and steel-spring floating slabs in the turnout area under similar conditions are compared. Finally, an energy evaluation method is used to analyze the vibration propagation characteristics on the nonisolated turnout frog section. Obtained the propagation and attenuation characteristics of vibrations in different frequency bands in the turnout area based on on-site test data.
