HS-Vectors: Heart Sound Embeddings for Abnormal Heart Sound Detection Based on Time-Compressed and Frequency-Expanded TDNN With Dynamic Mask Encoder

Lihong Qiao et al.

Summary: In recent years, auxiliary diagnosis technology for cardiovascular disease based on abnormal heart sound detection has become a research hotspot. Heart sound signals are promising in the preliminary diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases. This paper proposes a method called HS-Vectors for abnormal heart sound detection, which maps complex heart sound signals to fixed-length feature embeddings. Experimental evaluation shows that the proposed method outperforms state-of-the-art models in abnormality detection.

Parameter-Efficient Densely Connected Dual Attention Network for Phonocardiogram Classification

Keying Ma et al.

Summary: In this article, a parameter-efficient densely connected dual attention network (DDA) for heart sound classification is proposed, which combines the advantages of end-to-end architecture and enriched contextual representations of the self-attention mechanism. Extensive experiments across stratified 10-fold cross-validation demonstrate that the DDA model surpasses current 1D deep models on the challenging Cinc2016 benchmark with significant computational efficiency.

Diagnosis of exercise-induced cardiac fatigue based on deep learning and heart sounds

Chongbo Yin et al.

Summary: This study proposes the use of heart sounds combined with a deep learning model to evaluate exercise-induced cardiac fatigue (EICF). By collecting heart sound data and applying signal processing methods for preprocessing, a specialized network model was designed to recognize heart sounds and achieved high accuracy and recall rates. The study suggests that heart sounds combined with a deep learning model can achieve accurate and objective diagnosis of EICF.
