Terahertz graphene-based multi-functional anisotropic metamaterial and its equivalent circuit model

Somayyeh Asgari et al.

Summary: In this paper, a graphene-based multi-functional anisotropic metamaterial is designed and proposed for the 0.1-5.5 THz region. Simulations are performed using the finite element method (FEM) and an equivalent circuit modeling (ECM) approach. The metamaterial exhibits polarization-sensitive behavior and can act as a THz switch, inverter, and bi-functional mirror. It has potential applications in future THz devices and systems.

Thermal transport in turbostratic multilayer graphene

A. Mohapatra et al.

Summary: The presence of twist angles significantly affects the physical properties of two-dimensional materials. This study investigates the influence of turbostratic single-layer graphene content on the in-plane thermal conductivity of a defect-free multilayer graphene system. Results show that the thermal conductivity of AB-stacked graphene decreases exponentially with an increasing fraction of turbostratic single-layer graphene content.

A Transparent SIW Cavity-Based Millimeter-Wave Slot Antenna for 5G Communication

Yan Shi et al.

Summary: This article presents a novel transparent substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) cavity-based slot antenna for fifth generation wireless communication. The antenna is composed of a transparent conductive mesh and a transparent polyethylene terephthalate material, resulting in good optical transparency. The introduction of several slots etching on the radiation element enables multiple hybrid resonances within a specific frequency band.
