Summary: The study found that infants and toddlers in a remote Aboriginal community in Northern Australia had a high burden of enteric pathogens and non-pathogens, and carriage of pathogens/non-pathogens was negatively associated with impaired child growth. Cross-sectional study on intestinal parasite infections in different ecological zones of the Department of La Paz, Bolivia

The overall prevalence of intestinal parasites was 82.2%, with protozoa (80%) being more common than helminths (23.3%).
