Comparison of excess cement around implant crown margins by using 3 extraoral cementation techniques

Avish J. Jagathpal et al.

Summary: This in vitro study compared 3 extraoral cementation techniques to reduce excess extruded cementation material around implant-supported crowns and found that the pattern resin (3D-printed) analog technique produced the least amount of extruded excess cement, minimizing detrimental impact on peri-implant tissue health. The study concluded that this technique is effective in controlling excess cement during crown cementation.
