The benefits of tourism for rural community development

Summary: While rural tourism's benefits have been extensively studied, the role of tourism in rural community development has been overlooked. This study aims to provide policy-makers with a rural tourism contribution model for supporting rural community development. The study identifies four primary attributes of rural tourism contributions and confirms that economic benefits are the most significant. The findings have practical and methodological implications for policy-making and rural community development.

Sustainability in the beer and pub industry during the COVID-19 period: An emerging new normal

Research suggests that organizations should adopt innovative and flexible business models to create added value for customers and other stakeholders. This study extends the concept of value co-creation beyond its current boundary as a customer-driven paradigm and reconceptualizes it as a driver for societal benefits. Through in-depth interviews and observations, the study identifies three stages of strategies and innovation in the pub industry during the pandemic and demonstrates how multiple stakeholders benefit from these innovations.
