Electromagnetic form factors of the Bc-like tetraquarks: Molecular and diquark-antidiquark pictures

Ulas Ozdem

Summary: In this study, we investigate the magnetic and quadrupole moments of the Bc-like ground state tetraquarks using the molecular and diquark-antidiquark pictures. Numerical analysis is conducted with different forms of interpolating currents and photon distribution amplitudes. The obtained results show significant differences between the two pictures, and the nonzero but small quadrupole moments indicate non-spherical charge distributions. Experimental measurements of the magnetic moments can provide insights into the internal structure of these states.

An updated review of the new hadron states

Hua-Xing Chen et al.

Summary: The past decades have seen significant advancements in hadron physics, particularly in the observation of excited open heavy flavor mesons and baryons since 2017. This review provides updated information on the recent experimental and theoretical developments in this field, including the observation of unconventional heavy hadrons, tetraquark states, and hidden heavy flavor multiquark states. Additionally, the review covers progress in understanding glueballs and light hybrid mesons, which are manifestations of the non-Abelian SU(3) gauge interaction in Quantum Chromodynamics at low energies.

Chiral perturbation theory for heavy hadrons and chiral effective field theory for heavy hadronic molecules

Lu Meng et al.

Summary: Chiral symmetry and its spontaneous breaking are essential in both light and heavy hadron systems. Chiral perturbation theory (LPT) is an effective field theory of Quantum Chromodynamics. This paper reviews the research on chiral corrections to the properties of heavy mesons and baryons using LPT, as well as the scattering of light pseudoscalar mesons and heavy hadrons, which helps in understanding new resonances. Furthermore, this paper also discusses the progress on heavy hadronic molecular states within the framework of left, emphasizing the common chiral dynamics governing nuclei and the formation of deuteron and also the shallow bound states or resonances composed of two heavy hadrons.

Doubly heavy tetraquark multiplets as heavy antiquark-diquark symmetry partners of heavy baryons

Tian-Wei Wu et al.

Summary: Symmetries play important roles in understanding hadron structures and spectroscopy. Using the heavy antiquark-diquark symmetry in the constituent quark model, we study the ground states of doubly heavy tetraquarks motivated by the discovery of the doubly charmed tetraquark T-cc(+)(3875). Six ground states of T-QQ(Q=c, b) are predicted, with the lightest T-cc state having a mass of 3875.8 +/- 7.6 MeV and spin-parity 1(+), consistent with the observed T-cc(+)(3875). Furthermore, we estimate the magnetic moments of the predicted tetraquarks T-cc(+)(3875) and T-bb(-)(10396) in the same model, providing additional information for distinguishing the structures of T-QQ states.

Screening of the quark charge and mixing effects on transition moments and M1 decay widths of baryons

Summary: Motivated by precision measurements of heavy flavor baryon masses, this study analyzes the modification of quark charge and the screening effect inside the baryon. By considering isospin symmetry breaking and state mixing effects, the masses, magnetic moments, and transition moments of quark baryons are predicted, and radiative decay widths are calculated.

What can we learn from the electromagnetic properties of hidden-charm molecular pentaquarks with single strangeness?

Fu-Lai Wang et al.

Summary: This study systematically investigates the magnetic moments, the transition magnetic moments, and the radiative decay behaviors of the S-wave isoscalar Xi(('))(c)(D) over bar ((*)) molecular pentaquark states. The results show that their electromagnetic properties can provide important hints for understanding the inner structure of these discussed isoscalar Xi(('))(c)(D) over bar* molecular pentaquarks. It is suggested that future experiments should focus on the electromagnetic properties of these isoscalar Xi(('))(c)(D) over bar(*) molecular pentaquarks, which are a typical hidden-charm molecular pentaquark system with single strangeness.

Radiative M1 transitions of heavy baryons: Effective quark mass scheme

Avijit Hazra et al.

Summary: In this study, the magnetic moments of ground state charm and bottom baryon states with J(P) = 1/2(+) and J(P) = 3/2(+) were calculated using the effective mass concept based on single gluon exchange interaction. By utilizing experimental data in the heavy flavor sector, interaction contributions were estimated to determine the effective masses of quarks within the baryons. Transition moments and radiative M1 decay widths of these heavy flavored baryons were also studied and predicted.

Magnetic moments and transition magnetic moments of Pc and Pcs states

Ming-Wei Li et al.

Summary: The study examines the magnetic moments and transition magnetic moments of P-c and P-cs states in the molecular picture, investigating the effects of coupled channel and D-wave contributions. The research reveals that coupled channel effects have a significant impact on most cases, while the D-wave contributions induce less variation. Additionally, the study shows a significant difference in the magnetic moments of P-cs (4459) under the assumption of spin being 1/2 or 3/2, and emphasizes the importance of studying electromagnetic properties to further understand the structure of these unconventional states.
